Welcome to COATED. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, products, and services. By accessing or purchasing from COATED, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Overview

COATED is a New Zealand business that offers self-tanning products and beauty essentials made from high-quality, ethically sourced and cruelty-free ingredients. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including, without limitation, users who are browsers, customers, merchants and/or contributors of content.

2. Eligibility

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.

3. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions and images. However, we do not guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour or texture will be accurate. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.

4. Orders & Payments

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

  • All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST (Goods and Services Tax) where applicable.

  • Payments must be made at the time of purchase through our secure payment gateway.

  • We reserve the right to change prices and payment terms at any time.

5. Shipping & Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly, usually within 1–2 business days. However, delivery times may vary depending on your location and chosen shipping method. COATED is not liable for delays caused by postal services or third-party carriers.

6. Returns & Refunds

At COATED, your satisfaction is important to us. Due to hygiene and safety standards, we are unable to accept returns on any tanning products or beauty essentials.

Please note that we do not offer refunds; however, if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, we are happy to provide a replacement at no additional cost.

To be eligible for a replacement, please notify us within 14 days of purchase and provide photo evidence of the damaged or incorrect item(s).

For non-tanning items, we may accept returns on a case-by-case basis, provided you notify us within 14 days of purchase and the item is unused and in original packaging. Such products are to be returned at the customer's expense, and an in-store credit may be given, which will be valid for 3 years from the date of the store credit.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, product names, and images, is the property of COATED and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the content without express written permission.
